Jitterbug combines gin and vodka with lime juice, a little grenadine, and sugar syrup. A sugared rim gives the first sip an extra sweet edge, while soda water lengthens the otherwise concentrated mixture. The measured spirits are stirred over ice before the sparkling water is added to a tall glass.
