Classic Long Island Iced Tea combines equal measures of vodka, tequila, white rum, gin, and Cointreau with lemon juice, sugar syrup, and cola. This version uses 2.5 cl lemon juice and 3 cl sugar syrup, following the IBA proportions. The result has a sweet-sour citrus balance with orange notes and a little carbonation. Build it over ice and garnish with lemon peel. It contains no brewed tea.
