Instructions

1. 1Step 1: Heat the water and sugar until dissolved.
2. 2Step 2: Remove from the heat.
3. 3Step 3: Stir in the instant coffee.
4. 4Step 4: Let the mixture cool completely.
5. 5Step 5: Split and chop the half vanilla bean.
6. 6Step 6: Combine the coffee syrup, vodka and vanilla in a clean sealable jar.
7. 7Step 7: Add caramel coloring to taste.
8. 8Step 8: Seal and rest for three weeks in a cool, dark place.
9. 9Step 9: Shake gently each day.
10. 10Step 10: Filter through a coffee filter.
11. 11Step 11: Transfer to clean bottles.
